. Since the introduction of the bachelor master system a few years ago, Biomedical Sciences is started as an independent programme. In the first years, this programme was mainly for students of the bachelors Biology and Biomedical Sciences. Last year, the Biomedical Sciences is developed into the Graduate School of Life Sciences. Each year students from Utrecht, or abroad, and students from HLO, will start one of the programmes of the Graduate School of Life Sciences. These programmes are:

-          Biology and Biocomplexity

-          Biology of Disease

-          Biomedical Image Sciences

-          Epidemiology

-          Cancer Genomics and developmental Biology

-          Drug Innovation

-          Immunity and Infection

-           Neuroscience and Cognition,
 

Everybody remembers his of her first introduction when they became a student on the university. It is the first moment to meet fellow student and gather information on administrative and practical affairs. In 2006 the first master introduction was there. Last year there were almost 200 enthusiastic students on the master introduction day. Also this year there is an introduction day for all new master students.

When: Friday, August 29th  

Programme of the day:  In the morning there will be plenary talks. After lunch, nice activities are organized and the day ends with a barbecue and drinks.
